The Beginning

Our company was established in 1988 as a so called GMK still before the political system change in Hungary. The Company has been transformed and operated as LTD since 1991. We have been following business model  of a family venture with the philosophy and slogan:

„We create quality!”

Our role in the economy

We believe that there is an important role of the multinational companies in the economy, however the stable foundation of a successful and sustainable economy are the well operated small and medium size national companies. We have been always positioned ourselves here, as we realized that we could be the most successful in this field. This has been a rational judgement of the reality, as under-capitalized, unexperienced small ventures have had no chance to compete with the international company giants of decades of experience and wealth of capital. 

 

Times of cooperation

If not competing than joining them. To cooperate with the multinational companies, we had to meet earlier unknown requirements in quality, keeping deadlines etc. We have passed the exams so far, so became partners in dynamic network development of multinational oil companies (Shell, OMV, Total, Aral, Q8, Texaco), supermarket chains (REWE, Penny Market, Praktiker), banks (Raiffeisen, OTP, Erste, Saving Coops) and also developing Hungarian companies (KÉSZ, Fornetti). These long standing partnerships have proven as constructive and successful, many of them are still active. 

 

The “multi-footprint” strategy

In the first 10-15 years of our company’s history almost exclusively we contracted jobs for design and construction tasks in all segments of the construction industry such as: building construction, civil engineering, public utilities, road construction, professional skill engineering works. It was always important for us not only relying on one “leg” so we opened building materials store, lime slaking plant, and a wood trading and sawmill, and even a paint store.

In the spirit of the “multi-footprint” strategy, we have always reinvested our profits from various activities into the businesses and in the mid ’90-s started developing our own properties, which has become our most important business. In this framework, we have built and operated or rented out refueling stations, department stores, commercial stores, apartments, office buildings, hotels. Our capital situation later enabled us to start larger scale real estate developments such as industrial and business parks, and this business has become the priority development area of our current and future business.

As we are serious about our principle ” Frequent Filler is better than rare Forints”, so our moderate value for money rents and our sales prices have been continuously assured of the full utilization of our real estates – so we will not give up this principle in the future either.

We believe that only business can be successful in the long run, where not only company but also our current partners are also satisfied with the result of cooperation: that is called “win-win”

The birth of  “The Holding”

Today our multi-faceted and diversified activity is operated in a “holding system” with the involvement of our project companies. We are also relying on a wide range of proven, experienced, reliable quality subcontractors and suppliers who work for us and with whom we have been working on the market for many years and decades. This close, well-functioning system of relationships also guarantees our partners that our designed, built, leased, operated facilities become high quality, valuable investments.

We consider it important to practice our business by giveing priority to:
